Had Mr Thomas has my surgeon to remove my breast cancer, I could not of wished for a more patient polite and caring man. At no point did I feel I was being rushed and he explained everything many times so that I completely understood what was happening to me. Thank you

I found Mr Thomas to be kind, caring, compassionate and professional. When receiving a breast cancer diagnosis and having to then get to grips with the treatment options there is a lot to take in. I found Mr Thomas to be generous with his time and thorough with his explanations. Whilst decisions were clearly mine, his support and guidance have been invaluable, as I embark on this very difficult journey. I would also like to credit Mr Thomas as being an excellent surgeon, so as well as walking me through my planned treatment he has conducted my surgery and I am amazed and delighted with the results. I feel the whole team at the Southend Breast Unit are a credit to their profession, I have nothing but praise.

After receiving the news that I had breast cancer I was very unsure and frightened what treatment I was to have but after meeting Mr Thomas he explained everything in detail and drawings I came away from my first appointment knowing Mr Thomas was a caring and sensitive person. You never came away from an appointment unsure of anything he always made sure you understood the procedures. The day of my operation I met Mr Thomas twice and the next morning assuring me that all went well. If you or a member of your family are in the situation that you have to meet Mr Thomas I can assure you you will be in the hands of a very caring surgeon as was the whole of the Breast Care Unit.

From my first visit, Mr Thomas was clear and concise in explaining the results and all the forms of treatment I could have. Care during surgery was good and during the following visits all aspects of my next stage of treatment were covered and explained.

Mr Thomas is very professional but also very human. He is happy to answer questions and explain carefully diagnosis+treatment options. He has the ability to make you feel secure in his care and feel the health and well beingof his patients his utmost priority. At a potentially stressful time I feel priviledged to have experienced and benefitted from the skills of Mr. Thomas.
